Skin padding against wrinkles

In the truest sense of the word, hyaluronic acid is a legendary active ingredient and an endogenous component of the extracellular matrix (EZM) of vertebrates. It is present in many tissues as a long-chain, linear polysaccharide and fulfills many functions. It is an important building block of the connective tissue of the skin. In terms of quantity, it has the largest proportion in the skin, with the hyaluronic acid content in the tissues continuously decreasing with age. Hyaluronic acid combines with the keratin of the skin via hydrogen bonds in such a way that a slight tension arises when it evaporates and small wrinkles disappear. Another effect is a slight padding on the fold base. Because hyaluronic acid is inherent in the body, there are almost no allergies or side effects to this active ingredient.

The correct molecule size is decisive for the effectiveness of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is available with molecular chains of different lengths. While the short-chain molecules penetrate the skin better, the long-chain molecules bind the moisture in the skin more effectively. The DR. M. HYALURONIC ACID SERUM therefore contains a mixture of short- and long-chain hyaluronic acids, the major part (over 2.3%) consisting of the very effective and valuable oligo-hyaluron. Oligohyaluronic acid has a more permanent effect because it is stored in the connective tissue of the skin. This results in the sustainable anti-wrinkle effect.

Usage
